Managing driver information is not just about data entry; it\\’s a pivotal step in optimizing your dispatching experience and making the most of your Limo Anywhere system.<\/p>\n

Adding a Driver<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Navigate to My Office > Company Resources > Drivers<\/li>\n
  2. Enter the Driver\u2019s First and Last Name in the \u2018Add New Driver Form\u2019.<\/li>\n
  3. Enter the Driver\u2019s number in the \u2018Cellular Phone\u2019 Field.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Driver\u2019s Full Name and Phone Number are the only required<\/u><\/strong> pieces of information, the remainder of the driver\u2019s profile is optional or based on your organization\u2019s preference.<\/p>\n

      1. Complete the following Optional items as applicable:\n
          \n
        1. Enter the \u2018Primary Address\u2019, \u2018Apt\/Ste\u2019, \u2018City\u2019, \u2018State\/Prov\u2019, and \u2018Zip\/Postal Code .<\/li>\n
        2. Enter the \u2018Driver\u2019s License #\u2019, \u2018DL State\u2019, \u2018Exp Date\u2019, \u2018Badge #\/Other ID\u2019, \u2018Exp Date\u2019, \u2018Social Security\u2019, and \u2018DOB\u2019.<\/li>\n
        3. Enter the \u2018Trip Hourly Pay Rates\u2019, \u2018Travel Time Hourly Pay\u2019, and \u2018Passenger Time Hourly Pay\u2019 (for more information on driver payroll, visit the following article: How-to Utilize Driver Payroll<\/a><\/li>\n
        4. Enter the \u2018Type\u2019, leave \u2018Status\u2019 set to ACTIVE, set the \u2018Web Access\u2019, enter the \u2018Hire Date\u2019, and skip the \u2018Termination Date\u2019<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          NOTE<\/strong>: if you want your driver to utilize DriverAnywhere, you will need to provide them with Web Access credentials. More information about DriverAnywhere access can be found in the Edit Driver Information <\/strong>section of this post.<\/p>\n

            1. Set the \u2018Driver Work Schedule\u2018.<\/li>\n
            2. Enter \u2018Home Phone\u2018, \u2018Fax\u2018, \u2018Provider\u2018, \u2018Pager\/Other\u2018 and \u2018Provider\u2018, and \u2018Email Address\u2018.<\/li>\n
            3. Check off the boxes labeled \u2018Home\u2018, \u2018Cell\u2018, and \u2018Other\u2018 if you would like to include phone # on trip sheets.<\/li>\n
            4. Fill out \u2018Name to Display in Dispatch\u2018, \u2018Name to Display on Trip Sheets\u2018, \u2018Driver Level\u2018, \u2018Assign Driver to Car\u2018, \u2018Assign Driver to Group\u2018, \u2018Driver Notes\u2018 and \u2018Username\/Password\u2018<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  • If you wish to use the Driver\u2019s First Name and Last Name on the Dispatch Grid or Trip Sheets, can you leave this section blank, otherwise you can choose how you would prefer to have this information displayed (ex. if you use Numbers to identify your drivers, you might identify Matt Smith as 001 on your Dispatch Grid).<\/li>\n
                  • Click the \u2018ADD NEW DRIVER\u2019 button at the bottom of the screen to save the driver\u2019s information in the system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    Edit Driver Information<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    When setting up a driver for the first time, you are going to want to edit their information to access some of the additional settings available, such as DriverAnywhere Settings.<\/p>\n

                    To Edit a Driver:<\/p>\n

                      \n
                    1. Select the Driver from the \u2018Drivers\u2019 module.<\/li>\n
                    2. Click the \u2018EDIT DRIVER\u2019 button.<\/li>\n
                    3. The driver\u2019s information will open in the \u2018Edit Driver\u2019 tab where the blank driver form had previously been in the previous section along with the additional tabs for DriverAnywhere Settings, Payroll Setup, and Driver Portrait.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      \\\"\\\"<\/p>\n

                      DriverAnywhere Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      If you want you Driver to have access to DriverAnywhere, you will need to adjust their settings appropriately under the DriverAnywhere Settings tab (make sure the \u2018Use Driver Anywhere\u2019 checkbox is ticked). Note: <\/strong>Drivers do not have access to DriverAnywhere by default and DriverAnywhere settings are controlled per driver.<\/p>\n

                      \\\"\\\"<\/p>\n

                      Payroll Setup<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      Limo Anywhere offers you the option to pay your drivers a percentage of the revenue taken from the customers charges plus an hourly charge and\/or a fixed rate per trip.<\/p>\n

                      NOTE: Creating just one payment schedule per vehicle type for each driver is important because it enables the system to input this information into the driver payroll fields on the settlement screen. If multiple schedules are generated for a single vehicle type for a particular driver, it leads to system ambiguity, making it challenging to determine which stored schedule should be utilized.<\/p>\n

                      If you are paying your driver a percentage of the fees \/ charges, enter the amounts here. Check the box next to the applicable rate and enter the percentage that the driver is to be paid from each element of the total fee you bill to your customer (ex. 100% of the gratuities paid out).<\/p>\n

                      Driver Portrait<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      The Driver Portrait feature will allow you to include your driver\\’s portrait on any scheduled email or custom forms sent to your client.<\/p>\n
