Establishing and Managing Airports in Limo Anywhere<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Limo Anywhere comes with most United States commercial airports established in the system (The Airports initially loaded in the system are marked as \u2018INACTIVE\u2018 by default).<\/p>\n

  1. Click on the \u2018My Office\u2019<\/strong> icon on the toolbar.<\/li>\n
  2. Open the \u2018Company Resources\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Select the \u2018Airports\u2019<\/strong> button as illustrated below.<\/li>\n
  4. To activate an Airport select it from the list and click \u2018EDIT AIRPORT<\/strong>\u2019.<\/li>\n
  5. The prepopulated airport code should never be changed.\n
      \n
    1. NOTE: Airport codes are used throughout the travel industry and are universally accepted. In addition, in Limo Anywhere they are used to define Zones for the company\u2019s fixed rate structure.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    2. The State the Airport is in can be populated from the drop-down list.\n
        \n
      1. NOTE: This is optional. Using the State can be helpful especially if the company serves across state lines and tax rates are set up for Pick Up\/Drop of locations in that State.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      2. The Airport can be either LOCAL (default) or NON-LOCAL.<\/li>\n
      3. If the Airport is to be ACTIVE change the Status on the drop-down list from the NON-ACTIVE (default).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Adding an Airport to Limo Anywhere<\/strong><\/h2>\n
          \n
        1. In the \u2018Add Airport\u2018<\/strong> box:\n
            \n
          1. Enter the Airport Code.<\/li>\n
          2. Enter the Description\n
              \n
            1. The description is usually the full name of the Airport.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
            2. Select the State\/Province from the drop-down list.<\/li>\n
            3. Select LOCAL\/NON-LOCAL in Local?<\/li>\n
            4. Select ACTIVE\/INACTIVE in Status.<\/li>\n
            5. Click \u2018ADD NEW AIRPORT\u2018<\/strong> to save any data entered.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Create and Manage Airport Pick-Up Instructions<\/strong><\/h2>\n

              1. To Add Pick-Up Instructions\n
                  \n
                1. Click on the \u2018My Office\u2019 <\/strong>icon in the toolbar.<\/li>\n
                2. Open the \u2018Company Resources\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n
                3. Select the \u2018Airports\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n
                4. Select an Airport from the \u2018Airports\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n
                5. Click the \u2018Edit Airport\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n
                6. Enter a \u2018Short Title\u2019<\/strong> (20 characters maximum).<\/li>\n
                7. Enter the \u2018Instructions\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                8. Select the \u2018Dflt\u2019 <\/strong>check box to make these the default instructions.<\/li>\n
                9. Keep the \u2018Status\u2019<\/strong> set to \u2018ACTIVE\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                10. Click the \u2018ADD\u2019<\/strong> button to save what was entered.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                11. To Edit Pick-Up Instructions\n
                    \n
                  1. Select the Airport from the \u2018Airports\u2019<\/strong> list that you wish to change the instructions on.<\/li>\n
                  2. Click the \u2018Edit Airport\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n
                  3. Select the instructions from the \u2018Stored Pick-up Instructions\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n
                  4. Click the \u2018EDIT\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n
                  5. Modify the \u2018Short Title\u2019<\/strong>, \u2018Instructions\u2019<\/strong>, \u2018Dflt\u2019<\/strong> and\/or \u2018Status\u2019<\/strong> fields as needed.<\/li>\n
                  6. Click the \u2018UPDATE\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    Setting Up Airport Meet Pricing in Limo Anywhere<\/strong><\/h2>\n

                    Depending on your customers\u2019 needs and the airports in service area, you may want to set up different fees associated with curbside and inside pickups. To setup your Airport Meet options follow these steps:<\/p>\n

                      \n
                    1. Click on the \u2018My Office\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n
                    2. Click on the \u2018Company Preferences\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n
                    3. Click on the \u2018Reservations\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n
                    4. Scroll down to the Pickup Fee section.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      1. Update your pricing, label, and the rate line item you want these fees to be associated with when the rate is applied.\n
                          \n
                        1. If you don\u2019t have an existing rate line item you want to use for your Airport Meet option, you can create the desired fixed rate line item in the System Rate Manager\n

                          1. Click on the \u2018My Office\u2019<\/strong> icon in the toolbar.<\/li>\n
                          2. Select the \u2018Rate Management\u2019 <\/strong>tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                            • Select the \u2018System Rate Manager\u2019<\/strong> button.\n

                                1. Open \u2018System Rate Manager\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                                2. Select the \u2018Fixed Rate\u2019<\/strong>, \u2018Multiplier Rate\u2019<\/strong>, or \u2018Percentage Rate\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n
                                3. Select the proper \u2018Rate Group\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                                4. Enter the \u2018Rate Name\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                                5. Add the \u2018Default Amount\u2019<\/strong> ONLY<\/u> if you need the rate to apply to all customers, no matter the trip type.<\/li>\n
                                6. Remove the check on the box labeled \u2018Primary Rate\u2019<\/strong> if you would like this rate field to be stored on the \u2018Secondary Tab\u2019<\/strong> in reservations\/settlement screen.<\/li>\n
                                7. Click the \u2018Save\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
