In this post, we share a few more things clients can do to start 2023 off on the right foot.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Identify and Remove Duplicate Companies<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From the Accounts area of your system, go to Companies to see your complete list of Company names.<\/li>\n<li>Search by the Company you would like to delete and open the associated Account(s).<\/li>\n<li>Assuming this account is a billing contact, you\u2019ll see a popup window labeled Select New Billing Contact. The key here is to make sure the name on the Account is actively selected in both drop down menus. (If you leave the selection on \u201cCreate new account,\u201d you will make a duplicate, rather than removing this Account from the \u201cbad\u201d Company name.) Hit OK, and then be sure to SAVE your changes on the Account.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat this process for all Accounts associated with the company name you are planning to delete.<\/li>\n<li>Go back to the Companies tab, select the duplicate Company you want to delete, click the delete icon, and then click OK. Once you have done all of these steps, the duplicate account no longer appears in Company names.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Review and Update Your Rates<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>Fixed Rates<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Navigate to <strong>My Office &gt; Rate Management &gt; Fixed Rates &amp; Zones Setup <\/strong>to view your various rate matrices.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From with the \u2018Rate Table\u2019, select the rate matrix you want to review.<\/li>\n<li>Click \u2018EDIT RATE\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm that the listed \u2018Rate\u2019, \u2018Tolls\u2019, \u2018Parking\u2019, \u2018Tax(1)\u2019, and\/or \u2018Tax (2)\u2019 are current and accurate.<\/li>\n<li>Adjust as necessary, then click \u2018UPDATE RATE\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Hourly Rates\/ Per Passenger\/ Distance Based Rates<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Navigate to <strong>My Office &gt; Company Resources &gt; Vehicle Types<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select the appropriate vehicle from the \u2018Vehicle Type Listing\u2019 list<\/li>\n<li>Click the \u2018EDIT VEHICLE TYPE\u2019 button<\/li>\n<li>Click the \u2018Rates\u2019 tab to view your per Hour Rates, per Passenger Rates, and Distance Based Rates.<\/li>\n<li>Select the tab associated with the rate you want to review and choose the appropriate rate matrix from the drop-down menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Update Your Templates and Forms<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To review your header and SMS templates, navigate to <strong>My Office &gt; Company Settings &gt; Messaging &amp; Template Settings &gt; Standard Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review your Email Header Templates and adjust as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Review and edit your SMS Templates.
