In previous blog posts, we\u2019ve covered how to capture leads<\/a> and quote reservations<\/a> using Lead Quote Close. The next step is improving your close rate. That\u2019s where Touch Points come in to help you automate segments of your sales cycle, minimize manual work, and keep prospective clients engaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Configuring Your Touch Points<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click the “Addons” icon in the top navigation bar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Scroll down to “Lead Quote Close” > “Settings”<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select the “Touch Point Rules” tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    4. Click the gear icon<\/strong> next to the Touch Point you want to update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Change Active<\/strong> from OFF<\/em> to ON<\/em> to enable the Touch Point in your system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Rename the Touch Point by replacing \u201cCustom Touch Point #1\u201d with an identifying title such as 24-Hour Follow Up<\/em> or Quote Expired Reminder<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7. Choose when the Touch Point should trigger (before, when, or after the event from the next dropdown)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    8. Select an event from the list (Quote Created, Quote Email Sent, Quote Expires, Quote is Booked, Quote is Viewed, First Time Quote is Viewed, Lead Marked Lost, New Lead, or Trip\u2019s Pickup Time<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    9. (Optional) limit the Touch Point execution by limiting how far before the pickup a prospective client might receive follow-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    10. Choose the appropriate tab for the actions<\/strong> you want this Touch Point to take (Send Email, Send SMS, Task Employee, or a combination<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    11. If sending an email<\/strong>, fill in the message details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
