Build Settlement Into Your Daily Routine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Settling a trip closes the loop\u2014it confirms that all data is accurate, and that payment has either been processed or the trip is ready to be invoiced. Update anything that needs to be corrected, then click <strong>Settle<\/strong> to finalize. The reservation will move to the <strong>Settled Reservations<\/strong> tab automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>2. Use the Batch Settle Feature for Efficiency<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Settling trips one by one can be time-consuming. The <strong>Batch Settle<\/strong> option allows you to select multiple completed trips and settle them in bulk:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the <strong>Settle<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the checkboxes to select the trips you want to settle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Batch Settle Selected Trips<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is ideal for high-volume operators or for end-of-day reconciliation, and ensures no trip gets left behind in limbo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"578\" height=\"355\" src=\"https:\/\/www.limoanywhere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/bill-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12109\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.limoanywhere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/bill-4.png 578w, https:\/\/www.limoanywhere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/bill-4-400x246.png 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 578px) 100vw, 578px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>3. Take Payment Before or During Settlement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If a payment hasn\u2019t been processed yet, you can handle it right from the <strong>Settle<\/strong> screen. A payment receipt will automatically be sent to any client contact marked to receive receipts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>4. Invoice Promptly After Settling<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trips set up under an invoice-enabled account will appear in the <strong>Receivables<\/strong> screen after they\u2019ve been settled\u2014but <strong>they won\u2019t invoice automatically<\/strong>. Monitor Open Invoices and Apply Payments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not enough to send invoices\u2014you need to follow up. Use the Receivables section to view open invoices and apply payments as they come in.
