Limo Anywhere offers a set of default payment methods, including major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) as well as commonly used options like cash, check, direct bill\/invoice, donation, and trade. These default methods are preconfigured and cannot be modified or removed. However, Limo Anywhere also allows you to create custom payment methods tailored to your company\u2019s specific needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating a New Payment Method in Limo Anywhere<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click the \u201cMy Office\u201d icon in the Navigation Bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Navigate to the \u201cList Management\u201d tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select \u201cPayment Methods\u201d from the lefthand menu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    4. Click the \u201cAdd New Payment Method\u201d link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Select an option from the \u201cPayment Method Subtype\u201d dropdown menu (most custom payment methods will be set to OTHER).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Assign the Payment Method Code. Each Payment method must have a unique code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7. Enter a Payment Method Name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    8. Set the Status to \u201cActive\u201d from \u201cInactive\u201d in the \u201cIs Active\u201d dropdown list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    9. Click the \u201cAdd New\u2019 button to save changes or click \u201cCancel\u201d to delete what was added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Comp (Complimentary Rides)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The “Comp” payment method is used when a trip is provided at no charge. This can apply in several situations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Promo\/Marketing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The “Promo” payment method is ideal for tracking rides offered as part of promotions or internal business needs, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Bad Debt<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The \u201cBad Debt\u201d payment method helps track lost revenue from uncollectible payments. This could result from customer insolvency, non-payment, disputes, or bankruptcy. Recording these as a separate payment method makes it easier to assess financial impact over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Service Failure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        When a trip is refunded or discounted due to a service failure\u2014such as a vehicle breakdown, incorrect routing, or significant delay\u2014you can use a dedicated payment method rather than altering the trip\u2019s value.         While Limo Anywhere does not limit the number of custom payment methods you can create, it\u2019s best to keep your list concise and relevant.
