Today, we&#8217;re going to discuss how to request payments at the account level and the role that functionality plays in account credits. While the Request Payments feature is exclusive to LA Pay users, all Limo Anywhere users can utilize account credits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Account credits can be used for payment on a reservation or invoice. These credits may be given to your customers as part of a Gift Card purchase or rewards in a Loyalty Program, or in any other instance where clients might want to pay a bulk sum of money in advance. Additionally, account credits may be added if a customer overpays on a reservation or an invoice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Creating Account Credits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click \u2018Accounts\u2019 in the Navigation Bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search for the account for which you want to create a credit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toggle to the \u2018Financial Date\u2019 tab within the account screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the \u2018Available Account Credits\u2019 link on the right-hand side of the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the payment method from the dropdown. For example, if someone is looking to pay ahead on their account, you might select Cash or Credit Card, etc. If you are issuing loyalty awards, you may need to create additional Payment Methods by visiting the List Management tab. To learn more, visit the following Knowledge Center <a href=\"https:\/\/kb.limoanywhere.com\/docs\/how-to-establish-and-manage-payment-methods\/\">article<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"470\" height=\"310\" src=\"https:\/\/www.limoanywhere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/credits-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10209\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.limoanywhere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/credits-1.png 470w, https:\/\/www.limoanywhere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/credits-1-400x264.png 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 470px) 100vw, 470px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Press \u201cSubmit,&#8221; and available credits will now show at the bottom left of the Payment Terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"349\" height=\"145\" src=\"https:\/\/www.limoanywhere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/credits-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10210\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requesting Payment for Account Credits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click \u2018Accounts\u2019 in the Navigation Bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search for the account for which you want to create a credit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toggle to the \u2018Financial Date\u2019 tab within the account screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the \u2018Available Account Credits\u2019 link on the right-hand side of the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the appropriate payment method from the drop-down menu (this can be any payment method mapped to \u2018CCARD\u2019 Payment Method subtype in the List Management section of your system).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select \u2018Request a Payment\u2019 from the Pay With dropdown field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the Name and Email of the person you are requesting payment from.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter any important payment notes (optional).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the payment amount.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press \u2018Send Payment Request\u2019 to initiate email.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Applying Account Credits to a Reservation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the Payment icon at the top of the reservation screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the Payment method drop down select \u2018Credits\u2019 at the bottom of the list.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"572\" height=\"339\" src=\"https:\/\/www.limoanywhere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/credits-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10213\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.limoanywhere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/credits-4.png 572w, https:\/\/www.limoanywhere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/credits-4-400x237.png 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 572px) 100vw, 572px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Enter the amount found in &#8220;Available Account Credits.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Press Submit to process payment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.
