While the primary goal of Lead Quote Close is to generate accurate, dynamic quotes in a fast and reliable way, it can also be used to upsell premium touches at the quoting stage. By configuring line items directly in your rates, you can present extras like a bottle of champagne, video game console rentals, premium bottled water, or vehicle decorating for birthdays, anniversaries, or bachelorette parties before the reservation is confirmed. This raises your average booking value without extra steps and helps every client feel like a VIP before they’ve even set foot in your vehicle.

Configuring Line Items in LQC

  1. Click the “Addons” icon in the top navigation bar.
  2. Hover over “Lead Quote Close” in the left-hand menu and select “Rate Mgmt” from the dropdown menu.

3. Select “Line Items” from the Rate Management screen.

4. Click “Add New Line Item”

5. Complete the fields for your upgrade as shown in the example screenshot below. In this example, we’ve set up an upgrade for a bottle of champagne:

  • Name and Description: Enter a clear internal name and a short benefit-driven description.
    • Examples: “Bottle of Champagne Service,” “Video Game Console Rental,” “Premium Bottled Water,” “Vehicle Decorating for Special Occasions.”Public Description Example: “Chilled bottle of champagne with glassware served at pickup.”
  • Price: Enter the amount to charge per unit (flat per trip works best for most upgrades).
  • Applied (Category): Choose Automatic, Optional, or Public depending on how you want it to appear in quotes (see below for definitions). TIP: For any upgrade you want the client to be able to select themselves during booking, make sure the category is set to Public.
  • Min/Max Price: Set minimum and maximum prices if needed.
  • Public Min/Max Units: Set how many units a client can choose (for example, 0–5 bottles). NOTE: Make sure the minimum number of units is set to zero if you don’t want to force clients to purchase at least one.
  • Icon: Select an icon if you want one to display (such as a glass).
  • Order: Choose where this item appears in the list (lower numbers show first).
  • Public Title and Image: Enter the name and upload an image that the client will see in the quote.

6. Click the “Create Line Item” button to make the line item available in your system.

Once your line item has been created, you can declare whichrate sheets orzone pricing it will apply to. For example, you may not want to offer a champagne upgrade on airport transfers or prom reservations, but you might include it on Night on the Town or wedding-related services. This lets you keep upselling options relevant to the trip type.

Mapping Your Line Items to Limo Anywhere

Once you’ve created premium line items in LQC, you need to make sure they flow into Limo Anywhere correctly when a quote becomes a reservation.

  1. In Addons, hover over “Lead Quote Close” in the left-hand menu and click “Rate Mgmt.”
  2. Click “Mapping to LimoAnywhere.”
  3. Find your new line item in the list and select the matching rate in Limo Anywhere from the dropdown.
  • Always map each upgrade to a fixed rate field rather than a percentage-based or multiplier field to avoid incorrect calculations.
  • Make sure the rate name in Limo Anywhere clearly matches your upgrade in LQC. For example, map “Console Rental Fee” in LQC to a rate called “Console Rental Fee” in Limo Anywhere
  • If a fixed rate field does not already exist in Limo Anywhere, go to “My Office,” click “Rate Management,” and add it there first. Select the correct Rate Group (such as Base Rate or a Custom group), leave the amount at $0, keep it active, and save. Then return to Addons and refresh the Mapping screen so the new field appears..

4. Check “Show field in Limo Anywhere even if it’s zero” for any charges you want visible and editable on the reservation later.

5. Click “Save Mappings” and create a test quote to confirm that everything transfers correctly into Limo Anywhere.

For more information about rate mapping you can refer to our recent blog on the topic: https://www.limoanywhere.com/2025/08/12/setting-up-rate-mapping-between-lead-quote-close-and-limo-anywhere/

After you’ve set up your upgrades and chosen where they apply, take a moment to test a few reservations, see how the options display, and train your team on when to suggest them.

Start small by adding two or three high-impact upgrades to your most popular service types and watch how often clients choose them. Over time, you can refine your pricing, wording, and placement based on what sells best.

Used this way, line items help you boost average booking value, streamline your quoting process, and create a premium first impression that sets the tone for the entire trip.

In previous blog posts, we’ve covered how to capture leads and quote reservations using Lead Quote Close. The next step is improving your close rate. That’s where Touch Points come in to help you automate segments of your sales cycle, minimize manual work, and keep prospective clients engaged.

Configuring Your Touch Points

  1. Click the “Addons” icon in the top navigation bar
  2. Scroll down to “Lead Quote Close” > “Settings”
  3. Select the “Touch Point Rules” tab.

4. Click the gear icon next to the Touch Point you want to update.

5. Change Active from OFF to ON to enable the Touch Point in your system.

6. Rename the Touch Point by replacing “Custom Touch Point #1” with an identifying title such as 24-Hour Follow Up or Quote Expired Reminder.

7. Choose when the Touch Point should trigger (before, when, or after the event from the next dropdown).

8. Select an event from the list (Quote Created, Quote Email Sent, Quote Expires, Quote is Booked, Quote is Viewed, First Time Quote is Viewed, Lead Marked Lost, New Lead, or Trip’s Pickup Time).

9. (Optional) limit the Touch Point execution by limiting how far before the pickup a prospective client might receive follow-up.

10. Choose the appropriate tab for the actions you want this Touch Point to take (Send Email, Send SMS, Task Employee, or a combination).

11. If sending an email, fill in the message details:

  • Use variables such as %QUOTE-CUSTOMER-EMAIL% or %CUSTOMER-FIRST% to personalize content.
  • For emails, select or create a template, add a subject line, and write the body.
  • Use Send Test or Preview Email to confirm the setup looks correct.

12. If sending an SMS, configure the message details:

  • Quiet Time: Optional setting to avoid sending messages during certain hours.
  • To: By default, this is %QUOTE-CUSTOMER-PHONE%.
  • Body: Write your text message, using variables if needed. Keep it short and direct.
  • Use Send Test to confirm delivery.

13. If assigning a Task to Employee, configure the task details:

  • Assigned To: By default, this assigns to the person who owns the lead, or to the default employee if no owner is set (configured in Lead Settings).
  • Due: Set when the task should be completed (for example, +12 hours).
  • Task Description: Write clear instructions for the employee, such as “Call customer to follow up on expired quote.”

14. Click Save Changes when finished.

Optimizing Your Touch Points

LQC gives you up to five customizable Touch Points. Each one can trigger an email, an SMS, a task, or a mix of all three depending on your workflow. Use them to keep leads warm, balance automation with staff accountability, and request feedback after a trip.

For example, you might set up a 24-hour email reminder after the initial quote, followed by a 48-hour SMS if the lead still hasn’t booked. A quote expiration reminder can send an automated message and create a task for a reservationist to call so high-value leads get personal attention. You can also configure abandoned cart texts for prospects who start but don’t finish a quote, and post-trip emails to thank clients and request feedback or reviews. Together, your Touch Points create a workflow that allows you to save time without sacrificing the customer experience.

Whether you’ve just enabled Lead Quote Close (LQC) or you’ve been using it for years, this guide consolidates our newest how-to articles, support references, and proven configuration tips—so you can book more with less manual effort.

Not using LQC yet? See how operators capture UTMs on every lead, connect offline conversions to Google Ads, map quote totals into Limo Anywhere reservations, and automate pricing logic to protect margins.

What you’ll achieve with Lead Quote Close

  • Quote faster, book more: Auto-quote with guardrails, dynamic pricing, and availability-aware rules.
  • Eliminate re-entry: Map quoted totals into fixed reservation fields in Limo Anywhere—no double work.
  • Measure true ROI: Capture campaign UTMs on leads and connect offline conversions to Google Ads for optimization.
  • Protect margins automatically: Time-of-day fees, zone surcharges, low-inventory uplift, and event/holiday rules.
  • Stay in control: Block quotes you can’t (or don’t want to) fulfill and reflect maintenance downtime instantly.

automate critical sales tasks and efficiently convert leads into bookings.

The Five Deep Dives (start here)

1) Setting Up Rate Mapping Between Lead Quote Close and Limo Anywhere

Prevent downstream clean-up and billing errors by tying every quoted amount to the right LA fields.
Key takeaways

  • Map only to fixed fields (base/flat, wait time, cleanup, discounts). Avoid percentage/multiplier fields (e.g., gratuity, per-hour).
  • For hourly work, map hours to a base/fixed field.
  • Treat discounts as negative-value items and map them to a discount field.
  • Create any missing rates first in My Office → Rate Management, then refresh the mapping list.
  • Make critical lines visible when zero so CSRs can edit post-trip.
  • Save and test with a sample quote.

2) Utilizing the Right Custom Lead Forms for Your Business Needs

Match the form to the service and placement (homepage banner, weddings, transfers, charter, etc.) to increase completion and data quality.
Highlights

3) Managing Auto-Quote Blocking & Vehicle Availability in Lead Quote Close

Ensure the system only quotes what you can deliver—and when you want to deliver it.
Highlights

4) Creating Dynamic Pricing with Selection Factors in Lead Quote Close

Automate margin protection and demand-based pricing—no more manual overrides.
Common plays

5) Configuring the Addons.LA Chrome Extension for Limo Anywhere

Give CSRs, dispatchers, and managers role-based access to critical Addons/LQC modules without leaving their screen.
Setup in Addons

  • Addons → Resources → Employees → (gear) → Chrome Extension
  • Generate/Copy token, select allowed features by role, then Update Chrome Extension Settings
    Install in Chrome
  • Add from the Web Store → Extension options → enter Company Short Name (this may differ from your Limo Anywhere Company ID) and the tokenSave
  • Confirm status; new tabs appear in Quotes and Dispatch per your enabled features.

Quick-start checklist

  1. Embed a form on your site
    • Copy the script from Lead Forms and place it on the page.
    • Set Inner Element ID and Outer Selector (ancestor).
    • Whitelist domains in Lead Quote → Settings → System settings → Whitelisted Hosts.
    • Test submit; confirm expansion/resizing via expander.php (avoid hand-built iFrames).
  2. Validate email domain
    • Addons → Settings → Domains → Add New Domain → add records → Validate Domain (DNS can take up to ~48 hours).
  3. Configure Selection Factors
    • Start with Time of Day, Zone surcharge, Booking method, and inventory-based rules; add holiday/event logic.
  4. Set Auto-Quote Blocking
    • Create policies for service area, lead time, vehicle category, and request channel; add a customer-facing “blocked reason,” mark Active, and Save Changes.
  5. Map rates to LA
    • Create missing rates in My Office → Rate Management.
    • Map to fixed fields only; for hourly map to a base/fixed field; set important lines visible when zero; treat discounts as negative-value items mapped to a discount field.
    • Save and test with a sample quote.
  6. Turn on attribution & offline conversions
    • Confirm UTMs are captured via the embed/expander.
    • Configure Lead Quote Close → Marketing → Analytics and set a daily Google Ads HTTPS import (e.g., 4:00 AM).

KPIs to monitor weekly

  • Lead → Quote rate (form completion & auto-quote success)
  • Quote → Reservation conversion rate
  • Average quote turnaround time
  • % reservations with complete rate mapping
  • Revenue & margin by source/campaign
  • Blocked-quote count & reasons (tune rules vs. availability)

Common misconfigurations (and fixes)

  • Pricing looks off → Manually quote a test lead and click the (?) breakdown; verify rate sheets & Selection Factors.
  • Form reloads and never advancesOuter Selector isn’t an ancestor of the Inner Element.
  • Form doesn’t resize / UTMs missing → Ensure the embed loads addons.la/…/expander.php; a hand-built iFrame will not resize or pass UTMs.
  • Fields missing in the reservation → Revisit Rate Mapping; confirm you mapped to fixed fields and created missing rates.
  • Emails landing in spam → Complete DNS validation and re-test.

Pro tips from our implementation team

  • Use purpose-built forms (Transfer, Charter, Party) and campaign-specific configurations for cleaner analytics and higher intent.
  • Keep post-trip edits simple by making key lines visible when zero.
  • Maintain vehicle schedules so quotes always reflect true availability.
  • Pair Auto-Quote Blocking with clear customer messaging to reduce drop-offs and calls.

If you’re using Lead Quote Close, rate mapping links the quoted rate to the final reservation in Limo Anywhere. When set up correctly, rates flow directly into the right fields without the need for manual edits. If the mapping is off, you’ll likely encounter missing or incorrect values that need to be fixed later.

Map Your Rates to Limo Anywhere

  1. Click the “Addons” icon in the top navigation bar
  2. Scroll down to “Lead Quote Close” > “Rate Mgmt”
  3. Select “Mapping to LimoAnywhere” from the list

NOTE: Limo Anywhere only supports mapping from LQC to fixed rate fields, such as flat rates, base rates, wait time, or cleanup fees. Do not map to percentage-based or multiplier fields, such as gratuity or per-hour, as this can lead to incorrect calculations.

For example, if LQC calculates 20% gratuity on a $450 trip, that’s $90. If that $90 is mapped to a percentage field in Limo Anywhere, it may be treated as 90%, inflating the final total.

4. Create any missing rates in Limo Anywhere
If a rate field does not already exist:

  • Click “My Office” in the navigation bar
  • Select the “Rate Management” tab
  • In the System Rate Manager, click “Add New Rate”
  • Select the correct Rate Group (such as Base Rate for hourly trips)
  • Leave the default amount at $0, keep it active, and click Save
  • Return to AddOns and refresh the LimoAnywhere Rates Mapping screen so the new field appears

5. Map your rates in AddOns
Once the Limo Anywhere fields are available:

  • Use the dropdowns to match each LQC rate to the correct field
  • Hourly rates should be mapped to a base or fixed field, not a multiplier
  • Line items like red carpet service, child seats, or champagne fees should be mapped under custom line items
  • Any negative-value items (such as discounts) should be mapped to a discount field

6. Decide which fields should always be visible
Some charges (such as wait time or cleanup fees) may not apply during quoting but should be editable later.

  • Check the box for “Show field in Limo Anywhere even if it’s zero”
This ensures the field appears on the reservation and can be updated after the trip if needed

7. After mapping your rates, click “Save Mappings” and create a test quote to confirm everything transfers correctly into Limo Anywhere. If anything looks off, revisit the mappings and make sure they are connected to fixed fields.

Mapping your rates completes the circuit between quoting and booking, helping the system work for you by reducing manual entry and minimizing errors for your reservation team.

You’ve configured your vehicles, set up your rate sheets, and created your selection factors. Now it’s time to get clients booking. This is where custom lead forms in Lead Quote Close come in.

Lead Forms help you collect the right information from potential clients through your website. In AddOns, you can choose from a range of forms built for different types of work like hourly charters, airport transfers, weddings, and more.

Understanding the Different Forms

AddOns includes a wide selection of form layouts depending on what type of service you’re offering and where the form will live on your site.

Basic Quote Forms

  • Short Form
    • A straightforward form that collects pickup and dropoff location, times, name, email, passenger count, occasion, and vehicle category.
  • Short Party Form
    • Similar to the Short Form, but built for hourly trips. Also includes a phone number field and asks if all passengers are over 21.
  • Micro Form
    • A compact version of the Short Form. Ideal for small spaces or homepage quote widgets.
  • Personal Form
    • A minimalist form designed for early-stage event planning. Great for weddings or inquiries without full trip details.

Styled or Visual Forms

  • Bootstrap Form
    • Similar to the Short Form but includes modern styling with icons and optional vehicle images.
  • Party Form
    • Expands on the Bootstrap Form. Adds questions like whether all passengers are 21+, contact preference, returning customer, and interest in add-ons like WiFi or drinks.

Layout-Specific Forms

  • Horizontal Form
    • Designed to span the top of a webpage, like a homepage banner.
  • Center Form
    • A wide, visual layout that supports background images and includes a round-trip toggle.

Purpose-Specific Forms

  • Transfer Form
    • Built for local transfers tied to specific points of interest, such as airports or hotels.
  • Extras Form
    • Allows customers to request intermediate stops and select add-ons on the first page.
  • Charter Form
    • Designed for multi-day or multi-stop trips, like school charters or special events.
  • Excursion Form
    • Intended for quoting more complex, multi-day trips with multiple vehicles. NOTE: this form is intended for internal use only, not for client-facing use

General Contact

  • Contact Form
    • A flexible option for general inquiries, custom requests, or corporate accounts.

Configuring Lead Forms

  1. Click the “Addons” icon in the top navigation bar
  2. Scroll down and select “Lead Quote Close” > “Lead Forms” from the left-hand menu
  3. Click “New Configuration” at the top of the screen
  4. Enter a Name for your form
  5. Select the appropriate Form Type from the dropdown menu
  6. (Optional) Choose a CSS file from the dropdown, or click “manage” to create a new one
  7. Set a Minimum Date or Maximum Date if you want to restrict when clients can book
  8. (Optional) Enter an Inner Element ID to specify exactly where on your website the form should appear
  9. (Optional) Enter an Outer Selector to control how the form expands after the first step is submitted
  10. Adjust the Initial Height if needed (default is 800px)
  11. Customize the Personal Information Header and Vehicle List Header as needed
  12. Choose how pricing appears under Vehicle List Per Unit Price
  13. (Optional) Assign a Promo, Agent, or Company Location
  14. Choose whether to Hide Pennies from Price
  15. Update the Edit Button Label and Update Request Button Label if you want to customize the text clients see
  16. Select the Account to Use if you have multiple business entities or brands
  17. Choose whether or not to Force Auto-Quoting
  18. Click “Save Changes” when you’re done

Using Lead Forms with Selection Factors and Auto-Quote Blocking

Once your Lead Forms are configured, you can take it a step further by using them as part of your Selection Factors or Auto-Quote Blocking. This gives you more control over how and when quotes are returned.

The “Lead Form Configuration Used” option lets you set conditions based on which specific form a client submitted. For example, you might create a unique lead form for a wedding expo, then set up a Selection Factor that applies a 5% discount to any quote submitted from that form. Or you might create a prom-specific lead form that’s only valid for a set number of weekends and block all other dates using Auto-Quote Blocking.

Whether you’re building a lead form for a marketing campaign or setting up a long-term solution for your website, using the right form with the right configuration helps you collect cleaner data and convert more leads with less manual effort.

If you need help setting up your forms, reach out to Support at 972-701-8887 x2 or email support@limoanywhere.com.

Lead Quote Close is designed to generate quotes quickly and accurately, but there are times when you may not want the system to automatically return a rate. Whether someone is requesting a trip outside of your service area, selecting a vehicle that isn’t appropriate for the service type, or booking with too little notice to guarantee proper coverage, LQC gives you the tools to stay in control of what gets quoted and when.

Configuring Auto-Quote Blocking

You create custom blackout policies to prevent quoting when specific conditions are met. These policies use the same parameters available in Selection Factors, including zone restrictions, service types, vehicle categories, lead time, booking method, and more.

  1. Click the “Addons” icon in the top navigation bar
  2. Open the “Lead Quote Close (LQC)” module
  3. Select the “Auto-Quote Blocking” tab

4. Choose the appropriate Selection Factor from the dropdown and enter the corresponding value

5. Click “Add New” to create the initial policy.

6. Click the gear icon next to your newly created blackout policy to edit additional details, including the “Policy Name,” the client-facing “Auto-Quote Blocked Reason,” and any additional Selection Factors.

7. Check the “Active” box and click “Save Changes” to make the policy live in your system.

Scheduling a Vehicle as Unavailable

There may be situations where an operator needs to remove a specific vehicle from service temporarily, whether for warranty work, scheduled maintenance, repairs, deep cleaning, or anything else that makes it unavailable. For example, you may normally have 10 SUVs in your fleet, but if vehicle #7 needs repairs that will keep it off the road for a week, the system will only quote based on the 9 that are actually available. Using the Scheduling tab allows you to reflect real-time availability in your quotes without removing the vehicle from your system entirely.

  1. In Addons, scroll and selection Resources > Vehicles from the left-hand menu
  2. Click the gear icon next to the vehicle you want to update
  3. Select the Scheduling tab
  4. Block out the dates, times, or days of the week as needed

You can use this tool to prevent quoting on a single day, across a range of dates, or even on recurring days of the week.

Example: If your Sprinter is going in for service from August 12 to 14, block those dates to make sure it doesn’t show up as an option in your quotes.

This helps ensure that LQC only quotes what’s actually available — no manual cleanup needed.

Final Tip

The quoting engine in LQC is powerful, but it works best when it’s grounded in what’s actually available. Taking a few minutes to block quotes when needed or update vehicle availability in advance can save your team time, prevent overbooking, and keep your quotes accurate from the start.

If you’d like help reviewing your quoting setup or updating vehicle availability, contact Support at 972-701-8887 x2 or support@limoanywhere.com.

This eliminates the need for your reservationists to remember every parameter you’d like to adjust, reducing human error and allowing your team to focus on other areas of growing your business.

Understanding Selection Factors

Selection Factors let you define the conditions under which a pricing adjustment should apply. These conditions are based on trip or customer details such as pickup zip code, number of stops, booking method, or vehicle availability. When a quote is generated, LQC checks for active Selection Factors and applies any corresponding Price Adjustments. These can be flat amounts, percentages, or pricing overrides.

You can also use Selection Factors to determine which rate sheet should be used, which gives you even more control over how pricing is applied in different scenarios.

Each Selection Factor includes:

  • A field (like Pickup Time of Day, Zone Sheet Name, or Passenger Count)
  • An operand (equals, greater than, contains, etc.)
  • A value to evaluate
  • One or more pricing adjustments or rate sheet assignments

Using Selection Factors to Drive Real-Time Pricing

Here are a few ways operators commonly use Selection Factors to automate pricing adjustments and rate sheet logic:

  • Time of Day
Apply a flat fee or percentage increase for pickups during overnight or early morning hours.
Example: Add a $20 fee for any pickup scheduled between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
  • Zone-Based Surcharges
Charge extra for trips that begin or end outside one of your established service zones.
Example: Apply a $35 surcharge if the pickup zip code is not included in your primary zone sheet.
  • Vehicle Availability
Trigger dynamic pricing when only a few vehicles remain in a category.
Example: If fewer than two SUVs are available for the requested date, increase pricing by 15%.
  • Trip Volume or Demand
Adjust pricing when lead activity suggests a spike in demand.
Example: Apply a 10% surcharge if the total number active trips on a requested date exceeds 20.
  • Booking Source or Method

Customize pricing based on how or where the reservation was made.

Example: Add a $10 manual booking fee for trips not booked through your online portal, or apply a discount for clients who reserve through a specific Lead Form or Custom Booking Portal.

  • Event-Based Adjustments
Apply special pricing rules for holidays, concerts, sporting events, or other occasions.
Example: Increase pricing by 20% for trips scheduled on New Year’s Eve or tagged with “concert.”
  • Marketing Campaign Tracking
Create pricing rules based on UTM parameters tied to specific campaigns, platforms, or referral sources.
Example: Apply a 10% discount for quotes originating from a paid social media campaign (UTM Medium = paid_social) or add a promo-specific fee for leads tagged with a seasonal UTM Campaign.
